Happy Holidays!

I hope you've had a great Holiday Season and everything went as planned. I can't believe this year is almost over. It has been a  crazy wild year for me and next year is going to be even crazier. Here's my year in review!

March - Aaron and I got engaged!
May - Aaron graduated college and started working full-time at Gehl in Madison.
June - Aaron and I moved into our house.
July - I had a medical scare with  blood clots in my lungs and spent five days in the hospital.
August - Aaron bought a new car.
September - I started my last year of college.
October - I became a Close To My Heart Consultant.
November - I started my Level 3 teaching experience at the high school and found out my student teaching placement.

That's our year in review it's been crazy hectic and a little scary but next year is going to be even more so. Aaron and I are planning a June 9, 2012 wedding. Three of our friends are also getting married next year. I will be graduating college in May and job searching after that. As you may have seen I have just become a CTMH Consultant but I have been scrapbooking for almost nine years now and working with the product just as long. I am learning fast so don't be afraid to ask questions! I hope this newsletter finds you happy and healthy!

Clubs

I'm looking to start a few clubs. The following are some of the clubs I have been looking at.
Hostess Club - This club would meet once a month and each month 1 person would be responsible for treats during the meeting and would then receive Hostess Rewards for that month. During our meeting we could learn new techniques, go through Workshops-on-the-Go, or just pull creativity off other people for scrapbooking and card making. Minimum order of $15.00 a month.
How-to Club - This club would meet once a month. Each member would be required to purchase a "How-to" book and each month we would get together and create a layout or two from the book. Minimum purchase of $21.99.
Crop Club - This club would meet one weekend out of the month, or one day depending people's availability. This would be time to catch up on old scrapbooking, ask questions, learn new techniques, meet new people, etc. There would be a small fee depending on location.
Budget Club - This club has no commitment. Each person who signs up for this club will have their name added to the bottom of the hostess list. The name at the top of the list is the hostess and receives the rewards that month. In order for you to move up the list, you must simply place a $25 minimum order. If you do not submit a $25+ order that month, then your name drops to the bottom of the list. Each month you submit your $25+ minimum order your name moves up the list and soon you'll be the hostess reaping the rewards.

Let me know if you are interested in any of the above clubs. The Hostess Club, How-to Club, and Crop Club all a maximum of 10 spots open, so let me know before all the spots are taken!

Scrapbooking Layouts

Sorry It's been awhile since I've posted anything but it's been crazy with school. I do have some pictures to post up of some great ideas. I will try to post more often but finals are in a few weeks. I can't wait for school to be over so I can dedicate more time to my crafting/scrapbooking obsession.

Here are a few of my layouts I made during my weekend home with my lovely ladies (including my mom!). I can't wait to get back together with them!

Stay tuned next post will feature our new Constant Campaign for the month of December and January. You're going to LOVE this product.

Getting Started

I'm starting to try new techniques with all my products but I feel like I'm at a standstill. My creative juices aren't flowing as well as they could be at the moment. I was able to put together the outside of my bucket list box. In my package I received a My Creations Memory Game. This product comes with 24 - 3x3 chipboard squares that fit into a chipboard box that closes with a magnet.

Here are the pictures of the outside. I haven't gotten to the squares yet because Aaron and I haven't made up our bucket list yet. As soon as we do I will get the squares done and post those!

I did have a customer sign up for Studio J the other day and I am super excited to show you her layouts. The customer was actually my mom, Jackie and she's given me permission to share them with you. I hope you find these layouts inspiring, and I hope you take a look at what Studio J can do for you! Just click on the images to see a large image.

With a 3 month or an annual subscription you receive a .jpg file after you've ordered the prints. These layouts will come as two 12x12 pages. How awesome is this? All the look of a scrapbook with none of the supplies, or time! You can find the Studio J link on my website.

Starting New

First of all, my name is Britney. I have been scrapbooking since I was in 7th grade, if not before then. That means I have been scrapbooking for 9+ years. I have worked with many different companies and brands for scrapbooking supplies but none have been as versatile and easy to work with as Close to My Heart.

I scrapbooked off and on throughout high school and very seldom while I was in college. It wasn't until I met my fiance that I decided to make a scrapbook for him of our amazing times together. I worked very hard on the scrapbook for him, using stamps and embellishments, all from Close to My Heart.

This company has always been in my family. My mom used to make cards before scrapbooking so we had many Dozens of Terrific Stamps (D.O.T.S.) stamps. After the company switch to Close to My Heart my mom became a consultant for a while. When she realized she didn't have the time to put into it, she gave it up.

I'm extremely excited to get my Consultant Starter Kit. I just ordered it tonight, so hopefully by Monday I will have it. I will take pictures of the pieces and post them for all to see!

I hope to become great friends will all of you and help you start up your own scrapbooks. Let me know if you have any questions.
